This is our standard policy, provided in good faith. If anything here conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.

Terms of Service

What Prometrix is. Prometrix is an AI-powered job-search tool. Depending on your plan it helps you score roles, tailor your CV to a job, write cover letters, find and match job listings, run mock interviews, and improve your LinkedIn profile. We reframe your real experience; we never fabricate qualifications, employers, or metrics, and we never submit job applications on your behalf. You review and send everything yourself.

AI-generated output. Outputs are generated by AI and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing them for accuracy before relying on or sending them. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or any particular outcome.

Your responsibilities. You confirm the information you provide is accurate and yours to use, you are 16+, and you will not use Prometrix to misrepresent your background or for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Plans & billing. Free, Pro and Max plans are billed via Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal. Usage limits and overage top-ups are described on the pricing page.

Liability. To the extent permitted by law, Prometrix is provided "as is" and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded under law. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

Privacy Policy (UK GDPR)

Who we are. Prometrix is the data controller. Contact prometrixai@gmail.com for any privacy request.

What we collect. Account details (name, email), your CV text and work history, job preferences, the documents we generate for you, interview transcripts, and basic usage logs (for limits, security and improving the service). Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Why, and our lawful bases. To deliver the service you ask for (performance of a contract); to secure and improve it and prevent abuse (legitimate interests); and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data or use it to train third-party AI models.

Who processes it (sub-processors). Anthropic (the Claude AI that performs the analysis/optimisation), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and Railway & Vercel (hosting/database). Job-listing data may come from sources such as Adzuna. Some providers (e.g. Anthropic) process data in the United States under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses). Each acts under contract and only on our instructions.

Retention. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request or after account closure, except where we must retain limited records (e.g. payment records) to meet legal obligations.

Your rights. You can access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time: email prometrixai@gmail.com. You can also complain to the UK ICO (ico.org.uk).

Cookies. We use only essential storage (e.g. a login token kept in your browser) to run the service. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Refunds & Cancellation

Subscriptions. Cancel anytime from your account; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't charge cancellation fees and don't give partial refunds for unused time, unless required by law.

14-day right to cancel. As a UK consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a new subscription. Because Prometrix is digital content/services delivered immediately, by starting to use a paid feature within that period you ask us to begin at once and acknowledge you lose the automatic 14-day cancellation right for what you've already used. You can still cancel future renewals anytime.

If something's wrong. If the service is faulty or not as described, you're entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: contact prometrixai@gmail.com within 14 days of the issue and we'll put it right or refund the affected charge.
